Looking Ahead

Well, that's all for now. A few new American Girl mysteries are due out in 2015, plus the new Girl of the Year. If I can get my hands on the BSC graphic novels, I might do those, and I'll see if the American Girl "My Journey" books are possible to summarize. For now, I'll leave you with this shot of my daughters, now four and one-and-a-half, getting started on the books for themselves. Thanks for reading!

I have so enjoyed reading your blog! Lots of AG books that I haven't read and the newer California Diary books were new for me as well. This was such a fun recap of childhood for me. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. :)

I appreciate all the recaps you've done- both the AG books and the BSC books! I'm sorry for not commenting as much has I should have, but I did read every post.

No more? That makes me kinda sad.

I love the picture of the girls.

No more until I get the half-dozen or so 2015 AG books from the library. :)

You should do the Little Sister books, too!

Nikki, I like them too.

Anon...I concede that it makes sense to do LS, but I hate them so much. I won't say absolutely no, but if I do, it'll have to be after I move back closer to the King County Library System and have better access to more books.

Why don't you like Little Sister books?

Anon, I think I was just the wrong age when I read them. They're annoying simplistic and Karen grates on me. If I'd been younger when I first read them I'd probably have more nostalgia for them.
